This is a very late production Defender 90 supplied new in the sought after XS specification and the addition of SVX alloy wheels. Presented in Irdus silver, In brief the late XS defenders came with heated half leather seats, heated screen, air conditioning, central locking and alcantara head lining as well as an Alpine stereo system. (fitted as standard on this model)
The Defender also has alpine roof lights and glazed rear 1/4 panels.
Supplied new in July 2015 by Mylchreests in the Isle of Man, the vehicle remained with its first custodian until 2018 when it was passed on to the 2nd owner until 2022 when we purchased it and registered it in the UK. Since purchase in 2022 we have stored the vehicle which has formed part of our own collection and remained unused save for the very occasional summer run.
Recently the vehicle has benefitted from a full under body lanoguard protection/preservation. In the pictures shown it is freshly applied hence being wet but now in a matt drier state and looks brilliant. We have also carried out a full service whilst being on the ramp.
The condition of this vehicle defies its modest 70,000 miles and it is very clear it has not been subjected to commercial or off road use,[it has never been fitted with a tow bar] it has been prized from new and this becomes most evident upon inspection, inside outside or underneath, it is in exceptional condition and has not been tidied up or reconditioned, it is a true keeper quality vehicle. The vehicle has a full Land Rover service history until 2018 and has been serviced by independent specialists since. If you are on the look out for a genuine late model high spec Defender that has been lavished with care since new this certainly should tick all the boxes....
