Land Rover Defender 90 County XS 2003
This is a lovely example of a high specification Defender 90 supplied new in June 2003.
The vehicle has had just two private owners from new, the second keeper being a friend of the first keeper who has owned it for the past 23 years, he purchased it when it was just 2 years old. Unlike so many this vehicle has only ever had private mainly recreational usage and has only covered a mere 59800 miles from new backed up by service history and MOT certificates. Over the past 20 or so years the main use of this Defender has been summer touring holidays. From new it was supplied in XS specification and has electric windows, air conditioning, central locking, factory sunroof, rear seats, alloy wheels plus more. The vehicle is in rare unmodified condition and always kept undercover.
Presented in factory silver with black interior trim, the interior is original and in excellent original condition, even the original factory radio cd player is still working as it should. The paintwork presents very well with only odd blemishes here and there commensurate with its age and low mileage, in general the vehicle looks really "crisp and sharp" and is sure to gain admiration,
Mechanically the vehicle certainly does not disappoint, you can tell that it's low mileage and cared for, it is a good example of how a standard TD5 should drive , quiet, smooth and comfortable [for a Defender!] .
A new set of tyres were fitted last year simply because the ones fitted had slight cracking in the side walls due to age. The Defender has recently had its comprehensive annual service and when sold will come with a fresh MOT test.
If you are looking for a very original, low mileage, low owner high specification TD5 Defender 90 that has had a very caring/ pedantic owner this might be the one for you as there cannot be too many like it left.
